Chidinma is a lawyer qualified to practice in Canada and Nigeria, a certified workplace investigator, and a human rights practitioner with legal education across Canada, the United States, and Nigeria.

She has built a multidisciplinary career spanning academia, non-profit organizations, legal consulting, healthcare, and the public sector. Across these spaces, she has led and contributed to initiatives that advance equity, strengthen organizational accountability, and address complex workplace and systemic challenges.

In her legal practice, Chidinma has represented and advised clients in criminal, family, employment, and human rights matters. She has appeared before courts and administrative tribunals, providing effective advocacy, legal advice, and exercising sound legal judgment in complex and sensitive matters, with a strong commitment to procedural fairness.

As a workplace conduct leader and investigator, Chidinma leads and advises on workplace conduct resolution processes, including informal, formal, and early conflict resolution pathways, while also overseeing complex investigations involving harassment, discrimination, and professional misconduct. She applies a trauma-informed and procedurally fair approach grounded in human rights principles, investigative best practices, and applicable legal requirements.

Beyond individual cases, she takes a strategic approach to identifying patterns and systemic risks that impact organizational culture, employee relations, and institutional accountability.

Chidinma’s work also includes legal research, education, and knowledge mobilization. She has served as an independent researcher on a multidisciplinary Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)-funded project and held academic roles focused on teaching, research, and student engagement. She has also served as a guest speaker on employment and labour law, human rights, and health law.

Beyond her professional work, Chidinma is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She supports initiatives that expand access to quality education, strengthen academic mentorship, and equip students and early-career professionals with leadership and career-readiness skills. She regularly speaks at educational forums and career events, sharing insights on professional development, educational literacy, and career growth.
